Constraints of podcast covers

• Square, at least 1400 x 1400 px, readable as a tiny thumbnail.
• One strong subject, high contrast, few colours.
• Leave empty space for the show title, which you add later in an editor.

Prompt starters

• bold minimal illustration of a vintage microphone wrapped in vines, two colours, lots of negative space
• retro screen-print style lighthouse at night, teal and orange, poster look
• paper cut-out style city skyline, layered, soft shadows

Thumbnail test

Shrink each candidate to 100 px wide next to covers from your category. If you cannot tell what it is, simplify the prompt.

Final steps

Add the title in a vector editor with a font you have the right to use, then export PNG and JPEG versions.
