# Podcast Cover Art Brainstorm Kit

Independent podcasters can explore cover concepts quickly with [Raphael AI](https://raphael.app) before hiring a designer or finishing their own artwork.

## Constraints of podcast covers

- Square, at least 1400 x 1400 px, readable as a tiny thumbnail.
- One strong subject, high contrast, few colours.
- Leave empty space for the show title, which you add later in an editor.

## Prompt starters

- `bold minimal illustration of a vintage microphone wrapped in vines, two colours, lots of negative space`
- `retro screen-print style lighthouse at night, teal and orange, poster look`
- `paper cut-out style city skyline, layered, soft shadows`

## Thumbnail test

Shrink each candidate to 100 px wide next to covers from your category. If you cannot tell what it is, simplify the prompt.

## Final steps

Add the title in a vector editor with a font you have the right to use, then export PNG and JPEG versions.
